When working in Vietnam we often come across other opportunities to volunteer for locally-operated programs in Vietnam. The directors of AuCo Fund are happy to facilitate connections between volunteers in Canada and these other progams.
These volunteering activities are not part of AuCo's program and no AuCo funds are spent on these activities. Once we have facilitated the connection, you are on your own.
Volunteer Teaching Assistants
All schools in Vietnam have English language programs, but there is a great shortage of native English speakers. During our work with schools in Vietnam they have often asked if we can help.
Canadian youth can work as volunteer English teaching assistants in Vietnam schools.Canadian volunteers will spend a few weeks in a Vietnamese school to help with English language classes.

Youth Summer Camps
The Vietnam Government sponsers youth summer camps to help foreign youth become acquainted with life and language in Vietnam. There are put on all over the country and their durations vary from a few days to a few weeks. Contact us for help in accessing these program.
Ho Chi Minh city has announced its program here for 2019.
